The Fairmont Olympic Hotel

Constructed in 1924, The Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Seattle has played a leading role in the history of the area. Built on land that was the original site of the University of Washington, the hotel was a community undertaking and remains a focal point of the city.

With the addition of an 11-story wing in 1929, the hotel went from 300 to 750 guest rooms. Later renovations included a new car entrance and ballroom that has played host to weddings, banquets and community events.

A $60 million dollar renovation in the 1980's resulted in the hotel re-opening with 450 guestrooms and refurbished public spaces.

Throughout the years, the hotel has played host to a who's who of politicians, royalty, movie stars and musicians

Bell Staff
Bellmen are located at the hotel's concierge desk in the Main Lobby. They are available to assist with porterage, luggage storage and on-site shuttle service.

Laundry and dry cleaning is available seven days a week at The Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Seattle. Overnight laundry, dry cleaning and complimentary shoe shine is available along with one-hour pressing.

Health Club
The Health Club at The Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Seattle would like to offer the following facilities for use during your stay. In-Room Dining is also available to guests and can be enjoyed poolside or on one of our sundecks.

Swimming Pool: The indoor heated swimming pool is located on the second floor of the hotel and measures 42 feet by 16 feet (12.8m x 4.9m), ranges from 2.5 to 4.5 feet deep and is heated to 83F (28C). The pool facilities are covered by an enclosed solarium that is opened during the summer months. The spa pool is 20 feet x 14 feet and is heated to 103F (39C).

Massage treatments are available at the Health Club seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sport and other massage treatments are available, please contact the Fitness Center for more details. Massages are available in private rooms in the Fitness Center or in guest rooms if the massage is one hour or longer. There will be an additional charge of $10 USD for in-room treatments.

The Terrace

Executive Suites are well-appointed and offer partial privacy for business meetings or they can be used as hospitality suites for small groups. Executive Suites feature one elegantly furnished bedroom with a spacious ensuite bathroom and adjacent dressing area. The bedroom is separated from the living room by draped French doors. The luxurious living room is furnished with a loveseat and one plush armchair.

Deluxe Executive Suite
Deluxe Executive Suites offer privacy for business meetings or private entertaining. The suites feature a luxurious master bedroom with a well-appointed marble bathroom and adjacent dressing area. The bedroom is separated from the living room by French doors. The spacious living area is furnished with a loveseat (sofa bed), two armchairs and a well-equipped working desk. The living area can comfortably accommodate six people for an intimate reception.

Corner Suite
Corner Suites are newly renovated and can comfortably accommodate a reception for up to 15 guests. These suites feature a large bedroom with a King bed, a dressing area and two large marble bathrooms. The living room includes two oversized chairs, a loveseat, Murphy bed and a dining table that seats up to six guests.

Cascade Suite
The Cascade Suite is the signature suite at The Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Seattle. This premium suite offers two bedrooms, each offering a King bed and large picture windows overlooking Seattle's financial center. The master bedroom features a canopied King bed and marble master bathroom with jetted tub. The spacious parlor has special touches such as a decorative fireplace, large picture windows and traditional American antiques. The Cascade Suite can accommodate a reception of up to 20 guests and has a separate guest bathroom. The dining room can comfortably accommodation up to 12 guests.
